Another good reason to start a local Truck Club.

Last year we had a Martin Senour Paint Rep. come up and give us an overview of thier auto. paint lines. He spent about 1 1/2 hrs with us and answered a bunch of questions. He saw we were very interested in learning.

This year, Our local club (Midnight Sun Classic Tailgaters) put together a Paint Class that was attended by 16 members. It was coordinateed with our local NAPA owner and thier Martin Senour Rep. and held at our new Voc/Tech High School (new state of the art paint booth). We spent 8 hrs (two 4 hr nights) reviewing MS products with many questions answered. Each participant preped and primed a 2'x2' panel the first night and each sanded thier panel and applied base coat, clear coat on the second night. This was a great confidence builder for all of us do-it-yourself guys.

Anyway, get in a club, start a club or just organize a bunch of your buddies and see if you can get a local shop (or maybe NAPA paint guy) to work with you. We all paid a little but is was money well spent!
