Is there anybody in Denver that has removed the front clip off of a 54 that would be willing to supervise the same operation on mine?

I need to install the MustangII suspension before my welder(friend) moves.

I have also owned a 54 & had the front off for an engine install. I haven't ever done an IFS swap though. Glad to help you out if I can.

Don't forget, the local VFW is providing a free breakfast to anyone that shows up at the VFW hall next Sunday morning. Must be driving some type of specialty vehicle to qualify.

I wish i could make to the VFW thing on sunday, but i'll be having dinner at mom's noting like her cooking. maybe on a sunday i'll bring my 62 4x4 burb and meet you guys there. RJ

I'm out in Morrison. I would love to start attending your meetings as well. Could you be more specific on meeting times every month? And is it always at the same place?

I have a red 1952 GMC 3/4 ton with a 1959 235 in it and SM-420 transmission. I could really tap into some of the wealth of knowledge that you guys have. So I'm interested in your club. Thanks.

The Sinclair thing isn't a club, or really a meeting. It's just a group of guys from around Brighton, Thornton, and Denver that get together every weekend to shoot the bull, and show each other the latest thing they've picked-up.

We've got daily stock drivers, a handful of AD trucks, $80K classic cadillac converts, and anything you might imagine between, that showup on a weekly basis. Sometimes there are several cars, other weekends, there's barely a handful.

They usually start showing up around 7:30ish, and someone's usually around until between 9:30-10:00 a.m.

Some of us take off around 9:30 or so and go over to McD's for breakfast. Or sometimes, we even plan a cruise (ahead of time) and go a few miles down the road for breakfast. Last weekend, we had a mini-show at the local VFW hall, and got free breakfast for showing up with a specialty vehicle.

If you're looking for a classic car club, I would be glad to tell you about one here in Brighton. Alot of old, old, old-timers, with alot of knowledge, and alot, I mean alot of different cars. We meet on a monthly basis, and usually try to have at least one event each 4-6 weeks.

Zip me an e-mail, a pm, or show-up one of these Sunday mornings, in Brighton. I'd be happy to see you. This weekend, I think we've got an additional Bolt member joining us from Northglenn.

Tell you what, this Sunday I have plans with friends of mine, but next Sunday I think I will try to show up. I just put an aooga horn on my truck, so you'll know when I show up. It's a big red truck with a 235, and hopefully by then I'll have the new Holley/Webber carb on it.

Just got home from the get to gether. It would be great to see you, next weekend, if you can make it.

Along with myself, and Shipwright, DV8 showed up this morning with his 54. Nice group. A little small this morning, but you never know from weekend, to weekend.

A group of went over and had smothered breakfast burritos for breakfast. Pretty good.

We had three AD pick-ups, a beautiful 47 Fleetline streetrod, a Buick 455 GS convert., a early 60's Buick leadsled type car, 31 Ford A streetrod, and a bunch of guys just standing around shooting the Bull.

You would have fit right in this morning, as both Shipwright and DV8's trucks are red. Perhaps I better dig out the 46 this week, so I can match.

I know this was from last week. But it was really nice meeting everyone I'm looking forward to the next time I get a chance to go to the get together. Both Eric and Bob have nice trucks and lots of good advice. I'm still a novice to the AD truck. Went to Greybeards show at the stockshow complex this weekend. I think I counted 4 AD trucks total. MAybe next year!!

I didn't go again. This time it's because I bolted on a new Holley/Webber carb and I've got a few things to modify, namely throttle and air cleaner, before I drive it. Hope to have it sorted out in the next few days though.
