I am looking at getting my paint job done soon and I found a shop that shoots Dietzler Paint. I can't find much information about this brand of paint.

The bottom line is that I want a show quality job!

Does anyone have any experiences with this paint or can you recommend a different one?

If it is Ditzler, maybe they are using PPG paints. PPG make many good lines of auto refinish paints.

I have used a great deal of Ditzler and found it to be excellent. I preferred it to DuPont when I could get it. I lately (last 2 projects) have used NAPA (Sherwin Williams) CrossFire and liked it very much. It is a single stage paint as I'm not big on clear coat, too much shine for the old trucks.

This shop mixes their own paint (ditzler).

I went to a car show this past weekend and in my opinion I found the best looking paint job there. I asked the owner where he had it painted. That is how I found this shop. I looked up Ditzler on the internet and came up with very little so I thought that I would check my support group here at Stovebolt.

I want to go with Base Coat Clear coat ... Sorry 53moneypit but I want my truck to shine.

It looks like I spelled Ditzler wrong on my search ...

chev35,

In the end, it is your choice.

The single-stage, two-part PPG (Ditzler) DCC paint cures to a very hard finish that can be color sanded (polished) to a mirror finish.

Check the reflection on the side of my Suburban.
