Just finished routing new front brake lines, it's been apart so long i don't recall how and where the spring connects and is there a rod that goes with it? Cant get a clear enough idea from the shop manual.

I have that picture, I would just need to dig it up for you. Maybe his weekend. I think you're right. The brake spring connects to the brake pedal, then to an "extension rod" that connects to the little tabs that come inward from the frame under the exhaust.

The fuzzy one is when I tried to take a picture of the camera screen. In the meantime, I ran out to the farm and took a couple pics of a parts truck. This is on a 51 Chev 1/2 with a 3spd. http://s1372.photobucket.com/user/foxj12/library/?view=recent&page=1The clutch spring connects to the clutch fork and then that has a 1/4" (?) diameter rod that goes to the pedal. The brake has the spring and then the little spring rod extension. The springs attach to the frame on the little tabs that stick out under the exhaust. The brake goes to the top and the clutch to the bottom.
