Hi Folks ... this is my 38 RHD Chevy truck from New Zealand. Trying to find the color blue, is it Regency Blue or Export Blue ?.

Thanks Gary UK

Looks like it's been repainted so it's difficult to say what the color is. This might help.

I used Rustoleum Royal Blue and it matched the original paint.

In the back of the '29 to '49 parts manual I have, the paint combination chart shows:
Comb. no. 221 export blue, argent silver stripes, black wheels
Comb. no. 223 regency blue, argent silver stripes, regency blue wheels
Comb. no. 235 regency blue, silver stripes, regency blue wheels
Comb. no. 239 Interlake blue, white stripes, Interlaken blue wheels
Comb. no. 241 Pennant blue, white stripes, Pennant blue wheels

These are all 1938 combinations, does say truck or car. Look on the body plate to see if any of the 5 numbers are on it. These of course are US colors, export maybe different.

That is one beautiful truck. The headlight buckets seem longer than the US built versions, or maybe it is just the angle of photos. Great Truck!
