Here is where you should "check in" so Randy and Wally can have an idea of who will be there. If you don't have a truck to bring along, you may want to ride along with someone who is near you -- would be fun. The details are (page and flyer coming soon): We are holding an informal (no fees, no trophies) gathering on August 20th, at the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, WI.
Here is a chance to meet face-to-face with other vintage Chevrolet and GMC truck owners around our Great Lakes region (or farther!) to make new friends, exchange information, and to check out vintage trucks!
You don’t have to have a show quality truck to enjoy the fun. We welcome GM trucks of all shapes and sizes (unrestored stock, restored, street rods, daily drivers, etc.).
Just bring your truck and join the fun! Is your project still not on the road? Bring it on a trailer if you like ... or just bring some pictures of your pride and joy.
Come and make some connections with other truck owners and pick up some tips and tricks!
A local drive in restaurant will be at the event supplying food and ice cream. A few local restoration shops will have something there to look at.
When you’re here, spend some time checking out the Wisconsin Automotive Museum, home of the Kissel Kar (built in Hartford from 1906 to 1931), and the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame (celebrating local stock car racing history). Discounted museum admission for Stovebolters!
The Hartford Auto Museum is a great venue. Also it is located in downtown Hartford which has great little shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy. Camping and Pike lake are also nearby.
We'll have t-shirts and decals for the event (for purchase).
Come on and join us - with or without a truck!
August 20th, 2016 (9 am to 3 pm) Wisconsin Automotive Museum Parking Lot -- Look for the Stovebolt flag 147 North Rural Street Hartford, WI The more trucks we gather together the better. Bring your projects, we want to see them all.

See you there.

Thanks to everyone for braving the weather! We were thrilled with the turnout especially for how wet it was.
We get quite a few photos, i'll need a day or two to get them loaded, I've got to find the information for my photo bucket account.
I think there was quite a bit of interest in making this a annual event.
Once again thanks to everyone!

We had a great time and there is a lot of interest. Looks like we will give it another go for next year.
