The buckets are original and in very good condition. AS I stand and look at it....the bucket/headlight assembly appears to be cocked...ie the lines on the bulb are not parallel to the floor....the line closest to the center of the bulb had a difference of 5/16" from one side of the bulb to the other side. Both headlights have the issue...one side is worse than the other. The fenders/hood are bolted in and fit well. Make sure the spring is there that is attached to the bucket and puts tension on the headlight as you use the adjustment screws to draw it into position.
....most body shops have the old headlight aiming tools and can do it as long as its on level ground. I had my trim rings off and my local body shop set/aimed my lights in 15 minutes...for free. I don't know if the buckets are left and right, I don't think so. The fenders are made to GM specs so I would suspect the buckets. To finish my reply, yes that would produce big adjustment issues and the high low beam would not work correctly.

Provided the buckets are correct for the truck.One of the adjusting screws should be in the 9 oclock position on both fenders, [with you facing the headlight] The other adjusting screw shouls be at 12 oclock

It's most easily noticed by looking at the lines on the bulb face.....This does not, however, noticeably affect the beam alignment.
