Hey guys
I finally have some time to work on my trucks
I need a choke cable for a 1958 six cylinder and also for a 1965 eight cylinder
additionally I need an air cleaner assembly for the Rochester two barrel carb on the 65.
where would be the best place to look for these parts, I know there are many online vendors but don't know if one is preferred over the other

Thanks

most of the stuff comes from the same place and is just resold by the various online vendors.. so the answer is that its almost always better to shop around to get the best deal for yourself.

sometimes, however, a particular vendor will offer a deal to the members or will support the site in another way (like Mar-K for bed parts), and we should do business with them. someone will chime in if there is such an arrangement in place currently.

http://www.americanclassic.com/ gives stovebolt members a 10% discount. It is best to call to make sure you get it though.

Those are good sugestions. For the air cleaner you will need to place an ad in the swap meet section. Or try E-bay or Craigslist.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this. Scroll to the top of the page and click on the "LINKS" link. Then click on the "PARTS" link.

It's also at the bottom. Called the menu! grin

I added it to the bottom for those really long pages and no one wants to scroll back to the top. wink
