For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 7 | I have a '51 5400 coe without a box on it. I was brainstorming for a new project....I have assembled some parts. I have a '82 P30 frame with rear end (5/10 lug). Independent front suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes, Isuzu 4BD2T 3.9l inter cooled turbo diesel, adapter to gm trans, 700R4 transmission, hydro boost setup. I was thinking mid engine mount with access from the 16' flatbed I have with a hydraulic lift gate on the back. Not sure to use the 8R19.5 tires and wheels or the original 20" ers off of the original truck? I don't think you'll be able to find tires big enough to "look right" with the 19.5" rims. The P30 sure sounds like a good donor though! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,159 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,159 | pvfjr,,Looks like a '57 Grill and Hood,to me.
