I was trying to find a source for replacement rubber pads used on the frame above the leaf springs. They have been making rubber parts for the auto collector for years. I remember them advertising on Hemmings in the early 1970's. You can look up parts online and order a catalog for your specific vehicle.
I know they make leaf spring stops. I just bought the stops for my son's 46 glove box door. From the photo those rubber bumpers you are looking for are definitely for the overload springs. REALLY impossible to find to find. Had the same on my 1949 3100 and was not able to find those anywhere. Removed the overload springs and set them aside just in case I ever find the bumper stops in the future.
