I was trying to find a source for replacement rubber pads used on the frame above the leaf springs. I remember them advertising on Hemmings in the early 1970's. You can look up parts online and order a catalog for your specific vehicle. I know they make leaf spring stops. I just bought the stops for my son's 46 glove box door. Jeffrey

As posted above, Steele Rubber is a good bet (but more expensive - and, worth the extra coat). Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.

52Carl Renaissance Man 5 Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,274 Virginia	Are you looking for the pads for the overload springs? That might be hard to find. Do they look like the pads which go on front axles? 1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition \| 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission

REALLY impossible to find to find. Had the same on my 1949 3100 and was not able to find those anywhere. Removed the overload springs and set them aside just in case I ever find the bumper stops in the future. Tim "Pay attention to the details! Ed '37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires. '47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle. '54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed. '55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
