I am thinking about putting the single wide drag type mickey thompson wheels/tires on the back of the truck. I think they only come in 15 inch rims with 5 holes. is some type of adapter available or is this a possible thing to do? The front wheels are the 19.5 wheels(p30) Thanks Chris | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 | Get a wheel adaptor to take you up to 22.5", 10 lug, 11.25" bolt hole semi truck wheels and run the big Super Single tires! I'm sure you could have custom wide wheels made with whatever pattern you want.

They would not do a custom bolt pattern as aI was looking at their wheels for the front. You know of any company that will make a super single per say in a 19.5 ? thanks Chris | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,877 . | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,877 | Try Rickson Wheel in MD. And Wheels Now, I forget where they are. I hesitate to recommend Stockton Wheel in CA, though some chance they are better than they have been in the past. | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,903 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,903 | I don't think wide base tires are made in anything but 22.5. Instead of messing with adapters, why not put in a modern axle with hub piloted hubs. Zero offset 14x22.5 wheels would give you about the right width or you can go with 2" offset. I use both. And there is a wide variety of ratios available. | | |
