whats the difference between a 61 apache and a c10? and how can I tell what I have?

"Apache" was an advertising term applied to all light trucks [1/2T-1T] from 58-62, the C designations weren't started until after 62 .... if you have a 61 short 1/2T, it's a 3100, long = 3200

The Apache name was for the 1958 to 1961 models. The C-10 started on the 1962 models.
