Has anyone tried or done a power steering conversion with these types of kits?

I haven't gotten very far in researching more options for better prices yet. I'm probably going to look more into this after I have been on the road a little with the bus this year and explore this more for early next year. Just wondered what others have been doing.

Looks good.

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

It looks nice but, I'd be a bit concerned with using a steering box designed for a car or 1/2 ton on a big bolt.

I thought it was for the 3100 1 ton. I'll have to research this a bit more though as time goes on.

The classic performance conversion that uses a late model pickup box is a good conversion. Those boxes are actually quite heavy and were probably overkill for the half ton applications. If I was going to do one, this is the one I would go with.
