Hi. I've been a member for many years, but never posted anything. I guess I'll start with my love for the trucks. Especially the 60-66 Chevys.
My "first" truck a 63 Chevy long be c-10, was given to me by my father when I was about 13. I had never seen it. But he had told me stories about growing up in it. It belonged to his grandfather and was given to his dad. I remember the day my dad bought it from my grandfather. He told me it was mine as soon as I got my license. When I was about 15 my dad sold the truck to my uncle. I have been looking for a truck to fill the gap ever since.
I joined the army and on my second deployment I discovered this sight, and joined just to look at the swap meet. However, I stayed and read and read. I truly enjoy the site and the information everyone shares.
I am still looking for a truck. But after all these years I still haven't put aside a truck fund to get one.

Wish I found the site prior to buying. Would have changed my buying strategy. Either way welcome and glad you are here. We need lots of 60-66 love in here to beat down (in a nice way) the AD crowd. Be patient and we can find that truck for you. Welcome.

Unfortunately trading in any vehicle is not an option. Each has a place. Except the Cruze. Got stuck with it in the divorce.
I'm also very interested in the c60s.

Welcome to the bolt. You find what you want and we'll help you get it together....no matter how good, or how bad it is. The journey is what counts. We can't take them with us. Keep looking. Sometimes bolters find unbelievable deals.....including a bolter who scored one FREE! Never give up.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Thanks everyone. It will come one day. Haven't let the dream die yet. Cheap is good free is better. Just have a few prioritys to take care of. Like buying a house, with work area.
There are quite a few 60-66 in my area wasting away that the owners want to much for.
