The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Panels 'N Burbs 53 Carryall body mount help

Rebuilding a 53 Suburban Carryall for my uncle that he started about 12 years ago. He bought as an unfinished project and mostly disassembled. I set the body back on the frame this weekend but not sure about placement of body to frame pads. We have a kit with 4 2"x2"x2" blocks and 4 2"x2"x1/4" pads. Currently we have the 2x2 blocks on the rearmost mounts and the thin pads on the front mounts.
Is this correct?
We have a shop and assembly manual but can't find a clear explanation of where they go.

Check out this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Truck Body Mounting Points photo album.
The 1947-55 1st series 1/2 ton panel truck mounts are pretty much the same as the Suburban mounts.
2 rubber pads per wood block, top and bottom.
Wood block location. numbers 3 and 4 mounting points.
There is one rubber pad at all the remaining mounting points, in between the body mount and the frame.
Numbers 1, 2, 5, mounting points.
