For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 62 | Based on the vast store of experience and knowledge we have on this site,I am seeking opinions as to what is the best type of wax to use as a top coat. I am going to have an acrylic enamel , semi-gloss finish. I am looking for a protective finish to put on the paint. Should I be using a plain old carnuba paste wax or one of the "synthetic" pastes? I don't want to use one of the liquid type finishes that give that "instant" shine. There are a lot of good ones out there, but my favorite is Tech Wax by Meguiars. May the wax wars begin. Cecil.... | | |
