Some of you know that I broke my left leg on the 15th, and didn't figure it out until about five days later. And it was broken in two places -- here I'm just busying about like nothings wrong. So, all this blood pools into my thigh ... eventually my pelvis, and then the other thigh. They've put a rod and three screws to hold me together so this one should have a good 20 years on it I gather. I will have good rotation in the hip, once the swelling all goes down.
For those of you who knew, in 2014 I broke my right leg (April). Didn't figure that out for a few months - but not the same kind of break (not a bleeder). By September, we were "aw shucks, let's go anyway" and we were able to drive to KC pulling the '49 on the trailer.
Last year it was a frozen shoulder and I definitely could not do anything. Took me a year to get it loose and still have a little ways to go.
We wish you all the best. The Reunion is a ton of fun. The KC club always treat us really special. It's fun to meet up with the screen names we see all the time. Sorry I will miss some of the new ones to the event ... I don't think I have anything else to break, so we should make it by Reunion 13 ... oh dear ... 13 ... hopefully so!
Take lots of pictures! You all have been great to pull together for Don and he's done a great job taking the lead!

So many folks we would have liked to see. Maybe someone can get video, too! (Now don't get the idea I'm accident prone! I certainly am not. My brother fusses that I need to slow down some ... so I guess my body is telling me the same ) Peg

Getting better every day.
Wow, thanks Terry for volunteering to help with pictures. That will be a huge help. Hopefully someone will be there to get them off your camera disc. If HandyAndy1947 is there, and has a laptop of some sort, he can load them right to the Bolt Bucket. I'm sure someone will have some sort of computer device. I don't think Mongo goes far without his.

And there are several who are local who come and hang (Revoh, 3-4-5 Chevy Trucks, Aldersons to name a few) but don't usually sign up.
That'll be great if you go home with a trophy ... or several. Hopefully, some of our Bolters will win something, too. They have lots of trophies and they have great door prizes from the Club.

Looks like my burb will spend another two years in storage in Independence MO. I'm not complaining. I'm sending this message from a 13th century castle overlooking the Rein river in Oberwessel Germany. My wife's surprise 50th birthday present to me. I guess that's pretty young by Stovebolt standards. 😊 I was spoiled for my two years in Independence. I only have two years to go till 30 year retirement. If I don't grow up and get a real job I'll have plenty of time for truck events.
I'll be thinking of you guys and will be with you in spirit. Cheers!!
Thanks
Larry

Very cool. You'll have to set up a photo account just for some pictures to share with us. I know Leo (and many others -- especially our Vets who have served in Europe) would love to see the sites - virtually. Guess, you'd be posting in the Spoon.
