** For Those Interested ** I just received 2 reproduction reels from the Pullman Co. {The Orig. Supplier To GM} price $28.50 each. They are nearly a dead ringer to the orig. ones. The only mod. I had to make was lower the hole for the tape that connects to the cable a little. They are rated 11 to 13 pounds pull where the orig. ones were 9 to 11 lbs. ** Good Luck To All.

Marzach;

Do you have the original cables? If not, what did you do for cables? They really seem to be the long pole in the tent.

Thanks

I am very pleased to note that my discovery of the Pullman Co. retractors is bearing fruit in this community. I got mine about a month ago, mounted them without any modifications, and they work very well. www.pullmanbalances.com

I posted the information on the retractors and Danchuk cables long ago, and recently also.

Installed the new cables yesterday
Pretty easy job
New Pullman 105 and Danchuck nomad 45.5" cables
Original suburbans may be a little longer but these are what the PO had in there
