But I neglected to mention in my post that now I'm going to swap out my Eaton 4.56 rear end to get closer to 3.55 or 3.70. That means I'll probably end up with a 5 bolt wheel and want to match that on the front end. That's why I was looking at the Chevies of the 40s product. Guess I'll have to do more research and probably some fabbing. You can get a 14 bolt or a Dana rear that should fit that has Bendix drum brakes or disc brakes and a good ratio

Keep your 3/4 ton truck a 3/4 ton and keep all 8 lugs.
Much reading about the rear swaps in the one ton section, it applies equally well to your 3/4 ton. | | |
