| | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 241 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 241 | I removed the horn button from my truck. I cleaned and painted the bow tie. Now for some reason I can't get the horn to work after putting the button back on. I've removed it once before but never had a problem with getting it to work again.
Is there a certain connection that has to be made between the inside of the button and the teeth on the metal ring on the horn assembly? It's seems like it has a snug connection. I don't know why the horn itself would die. No wires were disconnected. The battery is charged so no lack of current.
