We had 26 trucks show up at one point or another, some great projects to work on, awesome food and as always, wonderful Stovebolt fellowship. Special thanks to John and Peggy for all they do, for opening up their farm to us and for hosting this great annual Homecoming event.
I will try and get some video uploaded to PB of the first run in the big green COE (poor bird) and some pictures too.
There were several folks that couldn't be there this weekend and you all were missed.
As always, I can't wait till next year!

My family and I have never stayed in an area more than a few years at a time; we are transits.... drifters.... Marine Corps "gypsies". In a way, we don't have a place that we can call home. This place and it's owners have welcomed us into their home and have opened their hearts, kitchen, and garages to us.
They have opened up their home, not just to my family but, to all of us. When we all come to visit, we are not just coming to visit Mr. John and Mrs. Peggy, we are all gathering as a family.
So, although they are humble and demand no special fanfare, I still want to say thank you. Thank you for creating this.... a place where people gather with the same interest, a place that brings out the goodness of others, a place that rekindles old friendships and makes new ones. A magical place that gives our young the memories of growing up with Stovebolts and gives the old the delight of yester-years.

Homecoming to me is a must. It is a time when I can dive into things and take a mental break. Thank you for everyone who wheeled their truck into the garage. Making trucks run better is something I really enjoy.
Thank you to John and Peggy for creating this event. As we have seen over the years, the line of trucks gets longer each year.
I have to say my favorite part of the weekend was when Tim from NJ (56NJGMC) I think was smiling ear to ear with his truck once Grigg and I were done turning wrenches.
Can't wait until next year! Hopefully even less trailers will be arriving!
