During a little cruise last night, I noticed that I was having a hard time getting into first gear. It was grinding bad, sometimes even second gear. What adjustment/maintenance is needed? Thanks

Have you checked the clutch pedal free-play (free pedal travel) adjustment?

What year truck/engine and what transmission?

driver side, the linkage between the pedal and throwout arm is what you need to adjust.
