The ignition harness comes out of the hole to the left of the voltage regulator. The gas sender wire exits the bottom of the cab and re-enters with the harness to the right of the voltage regulator.
Are you making your own harness or using a pre-made one? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 465 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 465 | it is a harness from American Autowire, trying to make sure I don't run in wrong direction | | | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 226 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 226 | Light holders Dad, NICE JOB! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 465 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 465 | So most of the harness, except engine comes out the top drivers side hole ? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 339 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 339 | If you look in the FAM there is a picture of the firewall and all the holes are listed and what goes where. root | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 70 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 70 | http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/electrical/wiring/i hope this helps scroll down untill you get to the 49 click it and you can zoom in so close you can read the fine writing it helped me a lot now that i'm rewiring my 49 3100

Jim Carter LG-106 ? If not, and you have a 1949, your holes are wrong or someone sent you the wrong grommets or you asked for the wrong grommets or you didn't try hard enough to fit. What is the groove OD of the grommets you have and where did you get them?
