I started with the 4 supplied shims and found the fit to be too tight. I could move it just a tiny bit with 2 hands. It seemed very tight to me. I made a shim out of a piece of card stock and i could move the ball with just a moderate amount of force. I polished the ball and the ring before fitting. Will 5 shims have an adverse effect on the sealing of the transmission and torque tube? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 | I used valve lapping compound to lap the ball to the transmission......Now 4 shims and I can move the ball with moderate force.
