Just curious what everyone has done for wipers on 41-46 trucks. I converted to an electric wiper and the problem i have is while the motor has stops to park it as you drive the wiper will eventually end up on the roof. You can pull it back down but it eventually ends back on roof. Wiper blade is tight on shaft. I was actually thinking of going back to a vacuum wiper which always worked fine. Just curious.

I've never had an issue with them going too high. Is your wiper arm positioned properly?

That is the one I have. If I position the arm any different it will go on every divider strip over center of windshield. I am going to check it again and then I might take motor cover off. Thanks

I'm thinking either your motor is defective or something isn't set up properly. Maybe the wiper arm length or position is off, or the 90° sweep is too much.

Mine work great and if anything they park too low if the windshield isn't wet enough. They physically can't go up onto the roof when they're off, the park mechanism doesn't allow the shaft to move.

I am all set now. I reset arm and all is good. I am sure i did this before.
