Okay, I know you all have been talking in a different thread but I'd like to keep the list here.

For folks who would like to come but are from afar, and can't bring a truck - not necessary! Just come on. And check who else is coming in case you may want to carpool or even come with a group. Not necessary to stay all three days ... come and go as you like.

This is mostly so we can know how much food to plan for. We had such a big group last year, even tho it was soooooooooo cold. This year we should have a good group again, so we want to be sure everyone has space and is greeted with good old Stovebolt Hospitality.

So, here we go:

1. John and Peggy Milliman (HERE - we will take the front bedroom ... at least *I* will)
2. Leo "1953 Panel" K - coming from Canada via Buffalo and PA and camping
3. Don "2-ton" King - coming from MO, crashing (gosh, did you want to use that word?? ) in Fredericksburg and heading in with the ODSS Presidential motorcade. Hotel Thurs and Sunday; camping at HQ Fri and Sat
4. Doug "Hambone" Hamilton - coming from nearby, and requests Camp Site #1 (John said the spot over the septic field is available.)
5. 485WINDO coming from Middletown, MD on Friday, hauling his '48 truck (with a cap for his sleeper)
6. Chris Sweet and family (5) from Frederickburg, VA; Rocket is the little guy coaxing you to come on down! Sweet is the ODSS Sergeant At Arms.
7. Mario and family (4) coming from Virginia Beach, VA with camping trailer and tent
8. Grigg, Jr and III coming in from Lexington, VA - Jr. is bringing a boat (ohh-la-la) and III hopes to drive his '51 GMC - coming Friday noon-ish/Saturday; camping on the grounds
9. Billy Marlow is coming in Thursday from far far away Dayton, MD with the '46 COE, and a suitable vehicle to sleep in
10. Jim "53 green 1- ton" Schmidt is coming in from Bucks County, PA on Friday, driving or towing the '53
11. Alec "AWinLex" W coming in from Lexington VA probably with Grigg II and II
12. Mike Roache is coming from afar on Friday morning and bringing his Roache Coach. Although he did not mention this, I am sure Dempsey (1952 Chevy 2-ton) will also be coming.
13. Carl "52Carl" will be heading up from Southern Virginia (part of the Tidewater gang).
14. Mike "Mike B" Boteler will be coming from afar, too (15 minutes away?) on Friday and gonna camp in his truck (weather permitting)
15. George "Napco Man" Van O will be coming in from far off Virginia. Hopefully, his son Jack (awesome banjo picker) will be able to come, too.
16. Steve "Frank 58" is a new guy who lives near Mike Roache and will share space with him. I believe they are bringing in "Frank," the '58.
17. "Larry W" coming from Richmond with his camper.
18. Chris "ndkid275" F with two little ones (1 and 4) coming from Northern Virginia.
19. Jim "fourbrads" B and family (3-ish) coming from Virgnia
20. Gary "gwsut" coming from Bryantown, MD coming for Friday and Saturday.
21. Tim "TPR57C" Pryor coming from Australia, arriving at Dulles on Wednesday
22. Jim "hardshell" coming from Virginia on Friday and pitching a tent.
23. "Moonlight" coming from Delmarva, MD on Saturday
24. Cedric "63stepsideLB' Brown coming from Culpepper VA on Saturday
25. "nj56gmc" from Brick Township, New Jersey bringing his 1956 GMC, coming down on Thursday pm and staying in local motel

I'm figuring on it. Are there any waterfront spaces left for my tent? I'll be crossing at Buffalo and coming straight south through PA... The hospitality was excellent last year.

I'm planning on it and starting to get things ready now.
Leave Wednesday morning, do an all nighter, crash in Fredericksburg Thursday night and then hook up with the Virginia convoy on Friday.
That is subject to any unforeseen problems on the trip.

Leo .... Plenty of waterfront spaces left. Do you wanted shaded, sunny, secluded, close to the house, or combo?

Oh, and don't forget the woods Leo. The west side looks a lot different but ... lots of good spaces.

New Guy showing up. Will be bringing my 48 on a trailer. Spoke with John earlier about parking my truck near Billy's coach for electric cord to my truck. ( sleeping in back of my truck with cap on it) Be there Fri morning from Middletown Md.

Hambone .... sigh .... Tentsite One only has parking for 1. May have to respot you to Tent Site 5 (over the septic field) ... it has plenty of parking and noone has claimed it yet.

The Sweet family will be in attendance.

Beware. The Rocket is coming into his own. He may attempt his first timing adjustment if he remembers to bring his tools.

We'll be coming from Virginia Beach with a camping trailer. If the weatehr permits, the kids would like t pitch a tent. Please place us where there is space for the camping trailer.

When are people arriving?

I'm thinking to head out early Friday morning from Lexington to arrive late morning/lunchtime.

I'd really like to drive the GMC if I can get it out of the garage. Not sure how long of a drive it would be in it.

Dad will also be bringing his boat for the show in Calvert. He'll be there during the day but may camp at Headquarters.

I will be coming from the Stovebolt Northern (Maryland site) Annex, in sunny (this morning finally) Dayton, hopefully Thursday evening if not before. Maybe I can finagle an extra day off and help,with chores of Thursday.

Much to my dismay, the stars are not aligning for me to make it to Homecoming this year.

Sounds like there's going to be a wonderful group (as usual) and you'll be having great food (as usual) while getting some work done on some Stovebolts!

That's why you need a panel...I tried that last year but it was so cold I slept in the basement the second night.

For he tenters and star campers, you will have the advantage of Homecoming being a couple weeks later than it was last year. Maybe spring will be here for real by then.... or, it could be snowing like it did Saturday night in Murland.

Frank and I will be there! Reservations are made with the roache motel just need a spot to park Frank! I'll bring 2 coolers full of bud light coors light and a little ice! Can I getta Woooooooooooo!

Don't want to see any u local boys showing off those 10 oz cans of that bud lite. It is not conducive to the inclusive environment of the HQ and is not in keeping with the high standards of homecoming. The camp comadant will be notified.

Okay, added these to the list. Thanks for the details.

Regretfully, can not make it this year as I've committed to a family get-together in upstate New York. I made these plans six months ago knowing that we'd be arriving from three different states and celebrating Mother's Day with my 94 soon to be 95 year old mother.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a memorable time!

I plan to be there again this year. I'll drive my truck with my little camper behind it. Larry

Cosmo -- The Sergeant at Arms can verify this, of course, but I believe the ODSS Constitution (Even year bylaws, Section 8, Sub Para 1503, (j)(..5)) stipulates that when the President can not preside over Homecoming (or other such plenum assemblies), he must (at his earliest convenience), designate a President Pro Tempore to act as locum tenens.

Please choose wisely as this person will have full presidential powers and ability to act in your stead. We will all have to live with the consequences ...

Sorry to hear you will not be there Cosmo, but we all know, family comes first. BTW, your tonic last year got me thru the cold rainy weather.
If you are looking for an temporary Presidential fill in, I would like to suggest Leo, the Canadian Ambassador.
He is more than qualified to step into your shoes and continue to lead for short term.

Mr. Sergeant at arms, I move that the nominations be closed.

Executive committee meeting pending.

As council states, the President has the option to designate a person to attempt to fill his great shoes. He also has the right to call upon the Executive Committee for discussion.

This meeting may or may not end with a selection. Further, as your SAA it is my duty to maintain order throughout the duration of the weekend. Be advised, if you are summoned to any preceedings for any violation either past or present, you will not have the President available to show mercy during any sentencing.

Council, looks like we will have a busy session, motion to extend disiplinary preceedings, Hambone now has no one to save his hide!
