I'm just getting this started.

Last year, several people brought things to give away in the Swap Meet area and we had a few things from our goody box.

Hagerty has sent us a bunch of cloth carry-bags that are nice.

Guy Auto Parts / NAPA is putting together some goodies for us to give away.

American Classic Truck Parts has sent us TWO $50 gift certificates.

Guy Excavating has donated a 2-ton Task Force GMC donor / practice truck for our use / disposal / demolition.

Will work on getting some more. Will make space for these guys on the Homecoming page when I get back to it.

Peggy, can you tell us more about the Swap Meet? I have lots of extra parts and I need a few. I was thinking about maybe starting a thread of a wish list of parts wanted by attendees of the homecoming so we could bring what someone needs rather than bringing a tractor-trailer load of who-knows-what.

Good idea Carl. I know we all must have a few spare parts someone may need.

That's what we did last year. We had a table where people could put the stuff they didn't need.

It changed this post. There was more stuff in the Swap Meet than I knew. Good job making a list here.

Also a reminder for last years award winners of The Ned, and other distinguishing awards. Please remember to bring them along with your "addition" to each trophy!

Oh yeah, some stuff was sold. I moved some extra items (rims w/tires, a steering wheel, some other stuff).
I was looking thru the garage yesterday at things I want to bring this year.

I should have a 51 3/4 ton for the first start contest. Clear title in hand.

Homecoming Swapmeet participants -- Please do bring all your stuff. And then please take it all home with you after. Please do not "donate" unswapped parts/components to Stovebolt.com.

Metal items left at Friendship Forest after Homecoming will be added to the scrap pile and sent to China. Flammable items will be added to the burn pile and sent to heaven in the form of smoke.

Items I will add to the SwapMeet:

flywheel ring gear (from a '54 I think)
'47'54 bumper brackets (1/2-Ton)
Bumper (AD, I think)
Lower flywheel cover
AD Big Bolt running board
Task Force fan shroud
Various radiators (GMC and AD) with useable cores
Various starters, generators, etc
Mostly complete '53 Dodge M-37 no front bumper or top, does not run, no title
'65 GMC 4000 series truck. Runs good, good title. Recent paint job
Starter, flywheel for a 261
Misc engine parts for GMC 305 V6 engine
Box of Arrow turn signal parts, lenses, steering column units (have to take whole box for price)
Possibly -- Good running 216 (currently in truck)

John,
I'm interested in GMC radiators and Big Bolt running board. Flywheel cover if for later (than AD) model big truck?

Everyone,
I could bring a set of six, 6 lug Bud 22.5" tubeless wheels if a deal is made ahead of time. These fit many 56 and later Chevy and GMC big bolts among various other years and makes.

Grigg -- You have first dibs on the radiator(s) and the running board. I think the flywheel cover is the standard 216/235 flavor. Ron left it a couple of years ago.

I think Frank58 needs those wheels .... ?

I will also throw a couple anvils in the back of the truck, for a low price.

If anyone has a okie bushing removal tool Im interested. Hoping to maybe get the bushing installed over the weekend if possible. Just don't want to spend the $65.00 bucks on the tool.

I was hoping you'd have some anvils. The one we got from you last year worked out EXCELLENT as a "dog anchor" for Freja during Christmas tree time. It was the only thing she couldn't drag around the yard!!

How good is the floor in the TF truck that's being stripped? The brush truck needs a complete floor with toe board, steps and rockers.

We got a C-note donated by Joker for a specified prize!

Also, we got three sets of ratchet type sets (they are in the other room) for prizes by an anonymous donor. I think there is a specification for one a category for the prize.

I think John will pick up the stuff from Guy Auto Parts tomorrow.

I'll be bringing some stuff for sale/swap/giveaway:

1) a small diameter chrome aftermarket clamp on air filter
2) a chrome coolant engine outlet for SBC/BBC.
3) extra rotary heater switch
4) Front leaf spring pivot bolts
5) a chrome rear bumper for +'55 Stepsides (a PO bought the wrong one)
All of the above are unused/brand new.

Some extra paper based oil cans I have hanging around. Great for your man cave décor.
