The tag shows that it is from a 2.2L motor out of a 1993, and it is a World Class trans. (if the web site has it correct)

That might be a ford bolt pattern? I'm not sure without looking at it. I think Lugnutz comes on this board, if he does he will answer your question. In the mean time, look through his web site, he has spent a Sh** load of time putting it together and it is one of, if not the best reference sites going on the T5

I'm going to say no off-hand. I bought one of them awhile back. It actually has a Ford pattern on the trasmission, vs. the GM Muncie style.

At the very least, you would need a Ford-Muncie adapter.

Some of the early 90's F-bodies used the 26 spline shaft. You'll probably need the F body clutch disc and pressure plate if you go with it.

Does it look like this? http://s1074.photobucket.com/user/w...ans2_zps71c6b402.png.html?sort=3&o=0

I ended up selling mine and went another route. McLeod, Wilcap, and Advance Adapters make adapters. Get your checkbook out though. Don't really recall if any other modifications are needed.

That's the ford bolt pattern. Gm used that in Astro vans s-10's and V 6 Camaros, they didn't stand up well to the v8 engines.

As mentioned above, the BRITISH V8 T5 CHART lists the 1352-216 as a 1993 T5 from an S10 truck. That website has been wrong on a few things on occasion. Typically they have the gearing numbers incorrect.

I will assume you have a Muncie pattern bell housing.
1993 was the last year the S10 T5 had a Muncie pattern case. I have owned several of the 1993 S10 T5s and all were world class with a VSS speedo output.

It is possible that it could be a Ford case pattern if GM switched during the later part of the 1993 production. You really want to avoid a Ford case pattern in my opinion. The cost to make it work with a Muncie bell is substantial.

You would have to decide what to do about the speedometer. A CABLE-X conversion box is an option to convert VSS to a cable output but it's expensive.

My advice is this:
If it has a Ford pattern case - then pass and look for a Muncie pattern T5.
Make sure your rear diff gear will work well with an OD gear. The chart lists the 1352-216 as a 0.76 OD which will work really well with a 3.73 or 3.90 diff.
Be persistent with your search for a 1988 or earlier S10 T5 because they have a cable speedo connection. I usually find about 3 per year but I am always on the hunt. grin
