Been looking a long time for outside mirror for my 34 half ton Chevy pickup. Finally got one. A few rust holes and no glass, but at least I finally have one. Question is: How does one get the upper pin out of driver's door? Does it tap out, or what? I tried a little tapping, but it didn't budge. Figured rather than break something, I'd try to get some wisdom from those in the know. Any info or suggestions appreciated. Thanks. wjb

If it dosn't budge you might need to heat shaft up with a torch. When you drive it out use a brass punch so you don't mushroom the bottom of the pin. If you are installing where there never was a mirror you will need a longer pin
