| | | | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 19 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 19 | Well, a year after installing the new rubber seal around the windshield on my '37, the rubber still hasn't "taken a set" as I had hoped it would. This is not the seating tape I am talking about, but the relatively flat seal that runs around the outside of the winshield frame. Does anyone out there have a solution? Once this truck is on the road, it would be really nice to not have water come pouring through from the bottom corners of the windshield. Thanks in advance.

Sure did the trick, too!

Go with steel rubber #60-0481-50. It was a lot softer rubber than the truck suppliers were selling, plus it was designed a little different. It cured mine from leaks! Joe | | |
