Dittos on what Carl said, Fred. Notice that particular COE was conspicuously ABSENT from this particular event ...

An Unauthorized Absence, it should be noted ... Fred, I will be more than happy to levy that charge at the Homecoming Disciplinary Hearing for you.

Carl -- Always happy to throw myself on the grenade (as it were) for a shipmate.

Guilty as charged! Really wanted to make the trip and surely would have rather hung out with truck guys and cool trucks than on my knees schlepping thin set and laying tile but, the honey do list isn't getting any shorter!
I will stand up and face whatever disciplinary actions I have coming to me at Homecoming.
Enjoyed the pictures and glad ya'll had fun. Surprised you guys didn't hit snow on the way home, all the grass that is finally turning green was white by the time the sun went down here.

The TPS mod in Missouri is the same design.
But we use stainless steel as the base material.
Which can also be used in heat treating different steel for hardness.
Stainless hose clamps and run better grade fuel in our machines.

Looks like a good time and would liked to have attended.
But, still planning on the HomeComing, and will be better prepared this year. (more tools)

Hello Everyone,
It is good to see you all gather in the cold weather. I thought it would be a bit warmer but I'm glad that the weather didn't hold y'all back.

Carl,
Great job on making the event a success! I knew that you were the man for the job. I really missed out and I wish I was there. Bravo Zulu my friend!

Jerry,
I am glad that you came out and joined in since you missed out on the first two. I have been trying to meet all the Tidewater Stovebolters so finally when you came out to play, I'm absent. We'll meet sooner or later. Thank you for capturing the event and posting the pictures.

YCgoat,
Are you the Robert in the picture (01)?

Jim,
I'm interested to hear if you won anything? All the trouble you've gone through to get your truck built, it's good to see that it's completed and on the road.
I like your initiative for volunteering to head up next years Tidewater Stovebolt GABFest. I'm interested in hearing your suggestions what you'll be doing for next year.

John, Peggy, Sweet, Tim, Carl, Robert, Larry, Jim, Sam, Carl, Robert C, Jim Safety, Jerry, Larry, and Tim and everyone one else I have missed, A BIG THANK YOU for making the drive in the cold to supporting this event.

It only gets better!

Mario

John, no charges due against Bill ( COE) owner..
seems that he had turned in a request chit to be
there but his commanding officer felt like
he needed to perform some very important duties at
home base.. Thanks for being willing to get
the situation squared away..

No, I am not in any of the pics, I did stop by with my wife briefly, and spoke to a few people but did not stay long (it was cold and I wanted to see all of the cars and trucks before Momma dragged me out). It was certainly nice to meet the guys I did get to speak to, and see the collection of classic trucks in various conditions.

So, several days prior to heading out to the Tidewater Rendezvous, I was trying to tell people who I was going to meet up with at the car show.
After thinking about it, I settled on, "I'm going to meet up with my closest imaginary internet friends."

not a fan of selfies or having my pict taken...

do not mind taking pictures of cars, and such, not so much of people. most of the time they just get in the way of what i am taking a picture OF !!

so 52Carl is Randy a Stovebolt member or a "REAL Friend", unlike us Imaginary internet Ones wink

Randy/Robert is a good friend. When I call him, I usually start with, "Hey Randy, you know everything. How do I do such and such?..."
He drives a late 80s suburban, a 5 ton military 6-wheel-drive truck, a 69 Pontiac Gran Prix and a 69 Firebird.
He does have a dream of one day building an El Camino out of LeMans. He will call it the Letrino. (LeMans/Camino.)

52PU sent his pix to my Pix-guy and they are in the Bolt Bucket, Tidewater album. Once we get BearsFan's pix in there too, maybe we can go back and title the images.

HandyAndy1947 (my pix helper) is on travel so if we need him for the images, we can do next week.
