I thought it was a 250 housing might have been the water outlet. other ways to run an electric fan though for a 235... not sure you need one unless you have air.. never ran one on mine and it never even came close to running hot

I used one von my 70 & it worked real good. It comes with a relay & is adjustable for the temp.

It had a threaded temp sender in it. No idea what size engine it came from or what year.
