I just went through posts.............saw one once a month or 2 ago about a thermostat housing that will bolt to a 235 that has a threaded housing for a temperature sensor to run an electric fan. I thought it was a 250 housing might have been the water outlet. Anyone know what I'm looking for?

heard of such for chevy v8 but not a 235 or 250 six,
other ways to run an electric fan though for a 235... not sure you need one unless you have air.. never ran one on mine and it never even came close to running hot

what type of truck and engine do you have

They have a fan control kit that has a prod that goes in the radiator core right under the upper hose. I used one von my 70 & it worked real good. It comes with a relay & is adjustable for the temp.

I used a thermostat housing from an American GMC on my 261. It had a threaded temp sender in it. No idea what size engine it came from or what year.
