n38193 - above is the link to the site Caso suggested. A wealth of information is available there. I have a 54 Chevy 3600 (3604) and if you find that you need pics, I can open the hood and take a few snapshots for you. Let me know .

I do not think there is a 1954 GMC Manual on-line (even at the Old Car Manual Project).

But original 1954 GMC Shop/Maintenance Manuals are available in reproduction and on-line (check eBay).
