Howdy Fellow Stovebolters,
Does anyone know if I cant fabricate a hand crank for my truck from another chevy hand crank?
I've noticed that different years are different lengths and different bends.
I can't seem to locate one for my truck.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

As long as the end of the crank fits on to your engine I don't see why not.

Dave,

Your crank is the same for the following cars and/or trucks;

1929 Truck
1930 Truck
1931 ALL
1932 ALL
1933 Truck

p/n 352768

Hope this helps,

Mike B smile

Still haven't found anything for hand cranks.
If I'm googling or Ebaying.
I've been putting in "hand Crank" for the subject.
Should I be using another search term?

may want to consider picking up a copy of Hemmings Motor News, it has a lot of parts suppliers and sources. Ebay in the most part has dried up somewhat and getting kinda pricey. My opinion, Mike

Yes you can fabricate one, determine what size bar stock you need to fit inside the balancer and go from there. Re. length, it just has to long enough to clear the bumper. There is a recent post here for a 41-46 truck crank, check that out to get a basic idea. I made one from all thread rod to use in the shop for adjusting lifters but you probably want an original looking crank. Best of luck
