For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 | I just got five new tires on my stock wheels, size 16 x 6.5LT. They look great -- problem is I cannot mount the spare on the side, as it needs about another inch of clearance at the fender. I've adjusted the mount all the way up, and its still not enough. Short of fabricating a new mount, have any of you guys found a solution? Jason 1953 3100

Craig, thanks for the compliment. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9 | Ron, BTW, your truck looks awesome! I've adjusted the mount as much as I can and still cannot get it to fit. Not sure what to do some except modify the mount.
