Hi guys
Me and quite a few other people here are making the same mistake when we rebuild our brake related parts .
We lube all up with Brake Fluid .This is a very bad habit . Why ,as we all know brake fluid attracts moisture and when we use brake fluid as lube we invite moisture in to start it's nasty deeds all over again .
While I was in Europe (Austria)brake assembly grease is in all the auto parts store .I started to use it with very good results . Back here in the states I finally found some .
But before I found some here I did my brakes on my 48 2 ton wheel cylinders ,using brake fluid as a assembly lube well they are now sticking . When I was getting my 52 1 ton panel ready for a road trip to it's new home I found Permatex 24110 Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube . I called Permatex to be 100% sure this was the correct stuff to use and was told it was . That was 2013 and it still has great brakes .
It's not cheap ,but doing some research to write this here I found some on Amazon offered from Permatex for very good price .

When I do a wheel cyl or a master cyl I make sure that the back side of the cups or piston get a good greasing also with the lube also .
You guys that don't put so many miles on your trucks unlike me who does and they sit around a bunch this is just the stuff you need .
Well I hope this bit of info helps a lot of people .
