Hy marc1955cameo, welcome, if you truck did not originally come with a V8 then you will have to purchase the factory mounts which were riveted to the front crossmember on V8 trucks, these mounts were not installed on non V8 truck chassis. There are many vendors which sell these parts alone or in a kit which includes all the components necessary to install a V8 in place of the six cylinder Jim Carter sells a complete kit their p/n HP122, hope that helps.
