Anyone know if there are better blades for these arms than what the vendors are offering?

They lasted about 5 years with no use, just dry rotted on the truck. I found replacements at Oreilly auto parts. It is the classic trico 12 inch blade Part number 33-122. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | I use Anco P/N 05325, stk no. 20-12. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 |

So I went to the junkyard and pulled the arms off of a 90 something chevy pickup and cut the ends off. Then I tapped them and screwed them to the arms I have. Now I can use the new style wipers. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,281 | I don't know if this will work on your arms but I was tired of how newer blades fit on the Anco 41-01 arms I have on my 52. I re-drilled the spring mount to increase the spring tension and they work just fine, even in west Scotland. A dab of Rain-X always helps too. (P.S. We do get a lot of the wet stuff.) 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr. I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.
