We got nearly 1 1/2" last night. The area is nearly crippled from it. I laughed at all the people who don't know how to drive in it until I almost spun out on a shady patch of road while trying to make a sharp turn with the brakes on. Pretty funny.

Maybe I forgot to mention. Ol' Flappy was out on the roads yester and today. In and out of 4 wheel without worry all day long. First of the 4 vehicles to be cleared of snow. Nice high stance made the 16 inches of snow look like a dusting.

I still miss her, but she found a good family to live with.

I don't remember what time John got home last night but he had enough time to plow the driveway some more and play with the dog.

So, when's the next one? grin

Well, this one was just a doozie. They are calling for rain and 40 tomorrow (night) so I guess all this snow will become a huge mud-bog everywhere. The morning radio was calling for snow -- but that must be DC or Baltimore.

Tim, I can't believe YOU didn't get that much snow. Even the family in Maine didn't get much from this.

Strange, strange.

We got no measurable snow in the last week, Peg

We have no snow on the ground.
On average, we should have had 30 inches so far this "season" - we have had less than 6 inches this "season".

We will most likely pay for being spared.
Another nor'easter is on the way - we might feel it this weekend.

However, last year we watched as Boston and the northeast coast got nailed, while we got average snowfall.

We are wary, and we are waiting to get buried.

There is chatter that will be more defined tomorrow of another possible storm this coming weekend. Too far away to get excited about yet but be advised its on the radar.

One thing I thought was VERY strange. On WTOP radio (which is a DC station), the news guys went on and on and on about how they really "called this one." I mean ... really? Do we want to tell them about how many times they have been wrong??

They said, oh yea - they knew 7 to 10 days out that this big one was coming.

It would be NICE if there could be that accurate with weather. I recall by even Thursday they would not say for sure what was going to happen, because ANYTHING could happen with the jet stream, the cold, the wind, the ocean temps, the moon, stars and on and on.

Well, Tim ... maybe it will be your turn next. smile

Peg
