I used two headbolt locations to secure the lift and all worked as planned. Thinking ahead when I go to install it again, I will be using the same two headbolt locations. So my question is, should I torque all the headbolts and then remove two or should I just snug them all down and torque them after the motor is in place? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | I use two bolts for the rocker-arm assembly posts (and a load-leveler on the lift). | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 | I have just torqued the two head bolts on several installations with no issues.
