Trying to mate the transmission to the drive shaft, you will see both have male ends, so a coupling must be needed. Somehow it has been lost or something. Does anyone know where i can find a replacement or am i screwed? Any idea what its technically called?

So I know my 235 is out of a 58 Chevy and I am not sure if the transmission is as well. I know the drive shaft and the transmission have 10spline shafts. Do you think the part you listed for the four speed will work?

You still haven't said if you have a 3 or 4 speed??? If in dought ask the seller to measure the diameter and count the splines of their yokes and confirm with what you have. My guess is if you have a 4-speed, the 4-speed joint will work. Let us know how it work out!
