Years ago I was very early into selling Amsoil(early seventies). We had to sell a new customer both the oil and Hastings oil filters. This is before Amsoil started making their own. So I've used them or one sold by Federal every since. The Federal ones say manufactured by Hastings on the box. Maybe I'm pickie but that's what I do.
