i can not seem to find a tool box that will fit in my 56 step side 1/2 ton 3100 bed, a little over 48' wide to fit in between the bed rails, everything is 49+ that i am finding,
where are they at

thanks for that, but i am looking for a box that sits on and in between the bed rails and not on bed of truck, i have one that has rusted up and no longer has any identifying info on it

So if I understand correctly you want the top of the box about 58" wide (out to out of the bed sides) and the drop down (between the bed sides) about 48" wide...sounds like a custon made box or something that was available when our trucks were new...
