The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Big Bolts 46 front clip assembly question

Howdy All --- Just wondering if anyone knows of a book (parts, service, whatever) that shows all the proper front end body components with an indication of what goes where. I took some pix a couple of years ago during breakdown, but they got eaten by bad hardrive and darned if I know how it should all go back together. On top of that, I think my 1-1/2 ton was very likely missing a couple of parts (like engine splashpans, maybe?).

Anyhow, if anyone knows of a source for either pictures of the correct parts or an assembly sequence, it would be greatly appreciated. I can probably fumble through it but would like to know if I'm missing anything of value. --- Thanks

You should be able to find a factory assembly manual.
The one I have covers 47-54. Note however some of the pages don't show the options for all the years.
Example: The W/W motor and linkage. The page for the left hand drive models is correct for the 5? and later and the right hand drive page shows the 47-5?
But it is way better than nothing.

Thanks Jim --- I did find one online manual for 1-1/2 T trucks but it is pretty vague. No mention of any of the grill or inner fender components so I'm still looking for more details.
