Hi guy's and gals .I bought this real nice Chevrolet hood emblem and there were no clips with it . Ebay shows a kit but I don't need all the other clips . Does anyone know who might sell just the hood emblem clips .The ones that were on the truck were broke. Thank's in advance. Jerry

have you tried your local hardware store? I have found those clips at Lowes before

From what I've seen the original front hood emblems had metal straps/clips inside with studs attached. These clips were spot welded to the bottom inside lip of the emblem. Is this what you need?

Or are you asking about the side emblems? Hardware store, NAPA, or body shop might have those clips.

From a PM I see you're talking about the front hood emblem.
The clips sold by the restoration parts places for that application may work perfectly. Pretty sure though original hood emblems had those clips spot welded in place, this may not be necessary with the replacements?

In any case I don't think you'll find the same thing at a hardware store.

Yep,the side hood emblem was what I was referring to, mine uses the rectangular push on clips, I have also seen the speed nuts on them. there is a metal strap either tacked or riveted to the hood that sits underneath the script. As far as the front my front hood emblem had screws and washers holding it into place but it's not original to the 49. Below is what I think your looking for. zoom in on the front
