I am a new member of Stovebolt, and have been lucky enough to find a 1937 unrestored 1 1/2 ton truck. It was used to pull a fuel tanker. The tanker is homemade in 1939, and has been repainted. The truck was repainted red early in life as all fuel haulers. As near as I can tell it is 77year old original.

Are you saying that it is a tractor, Phippip, used to pull a semitrailer? Pics, photographs, images. Please.

That is an awesome looking truck. What do you plan on doing with it? Restore it, or just clean it up and keep the same look? Looks in great shape.

Thinking of just cleaning it and keeping as is. Wiring does have to be replaced, rebuild master cly. Restoration it needs, but don't want to destroy any of it's history.
It has a tool box between the cab and trailer that no one had been into since the original owner. He passed away in 1974. I removed all the tools(old-old stuff), took a picture of them and put them back. Tools I have never seen before.
