I think One Shot sign painters' lettering enamel 100-L Vermillion is a close match for the red. Their 199-L Lettering Black is a good match for the black.

They are available in quarter-pint cans at an auto paint store or on line through various sources. You can easily apply it with a small brush and it will flow to a smooth finish when dry.

The pint/quart cans deal is the rub for me. A one ounce bottle (like Testors) would be enough to paint all of the emblems on a large fleet trucks. I have read that the Testors paint isn't as good as the One Shot.

Hi 52Carl,
One Shot paint comes are quarter-pint cans; that's only 4 ounces....still more than you will use, but certainly not quarts.

Good to know. Thanks Bob. Now all I need to work on is my reading ability.
