Welcome to the Stovebolt. I've separated your post from the others so you would have a post/thread of your own.
There are several bolters from Iowa so watch for them. You may have one close by or next door!
** Motor questions should be ask in the Engine Forum since everyone does not stop here in the welcome centre everytime they visit. The garage forums is where the "Work" takes place. Driveline questions in Driveline forum, paint and body in Paint and Body forum. Lots of info and great guys, and gals, here willing to help. If you need a part be sure to use the Swap Meet where the Parts for Sale and Parts Wanted forums are located.
(I have a friend in Simpsonville S.C. that you may want to hook up with as he is doing a 36, or it may be a 34. Either way there are similar I'm sure) Edit: His handle is 1934DB. You can PM him after you have made at least 4 post.

There are some experts on these old engines, just find them in the driveline forum. Good luck. I had an engine rebuild for my '46 done by a machine shop in Spencer. if you are near there I can give you their info and you can see if it works for you. Good luck with your project.
